Not many coastal Norwegian cities can boast having their very own local alpine ski center right on their doorstep! Located in Tveit—just 15 minutes drive northeast of Kristiansand city center and right near Kjevik Airport—Tveit Skisenter is a community alpine facility run by dedicated local volunteers.

Whether you are an experienced skier wanting to carve quick evening laps after work or school, or a family looking for a friendly hill to introduce children to downhill skiing and snowboarding, Tveit Skisenter offers a warm, welcoming local atmosphere.

Key Facilities & Slope Features

• Poma Button Lift (Tallerkenheis): A reliable 450-meter button lift bringing skiers quickly to the top of the hill.
• Alpine Slalom Slope: Well-groomed main downhill slope suitable for carving, practice runs, and beginner to intermediate skiers.
• Floodlit Evening Skiing: Powerful floodlights light up the slope during winter evenings, allowing night skiing under the stars.
• Terrain & Jump Park: Jumps and rails setup for freestyle skiers and snowboarders.
