Thanks for your advice on what to do to get a job in Kristiansand Adam. It was very helpful.

I know it will be difficult because I do not speak the language, but I will take note of your tips.

Bloody Norwegian! It is difficult :)

Thankyou,
Martin (London UK)

Hello

we are hoping to come over to Norway in February to visit our Uncle and Aunt who live in Kristiansands.

We can get a flight to Oslo but wanted to know how easy it would be from the Airport to the train station and the quickest train to Kristiansands and how often they run, how much and if we have to book in advance or can we purchase when we arrive etc.

Its just the flights are cheaper to go to Oslo rather than Kristiansands. We hope to return to the airport from Kristiansands to, would this be the same route? how far is the airport from the train station?

Or would it be esier, quicker to hire a car and drove down?

I hope you can help us plan our trip

Many Thanks

Hi Jason, I know there was a spitfire that was shot down near Kjevik airport (Kristiansand airport) but I dont know the exact location. My father in law has been in the woods many years ago and saw it. Am sure that there is not much of it left now though. I will do some research for you. Cheers, Adam

Do you know of any old WW2 wrecks in Kristiansand? I have heard that some planes went down over Kristiansand in the war, so would be great to visit the sites. Let me know.
Thanks, Jason AZ
